Version alternative d'Astro Boy 2003 épisode #44 Dans l'antre du dragon dans laquelle Astro et ses amis visitent le royaume de Mayura à l'invitation de la princesse Kaaya qu'ils ont rencontré lors des événements de l'épisode #22 La légende de Torhon, cependant la princesse Kaaya n'est pas de bonne humeur et explique à ses invités les robots n'ont pratiquement pas parlé aux humains depuis un mois. Les robots vivent dans le royaume de Mayura depuis un an, Naturellement, Kaaya et les humains ont toujours aimé les robots comme s'ils étaient leurs amis. Néanmoins, elle craignait que les robots n'aiment pas vivre dans le royaume, Astro et ses amis entendent alors une rumeur selon laquelle un dragon aurait été aperçu dans la forêt de Tohron et se demandent si cela n'a pas un rapport avec le fait que les robots ne parlent plus aux humains. Astro et ses amis se rendent dans la forêt de Tohron pour découvrir la vérité sur l'esprit des robots.
En parallèle à à l'intrigue d'Astro et ses amis, la princesse est restée au palais pour tenter de convaincre les robots de ne pas fuir les humains en évitant le contact parce que ça peut faire de la peine aux habitants de son royaume de se faire constamment rejeter. Après une dure journée à faire face à des moments désespérants tout en essayant de rassurer les habitants de ne pas dénigrer les robots qui les fuient, Kaaya ressentie le besoin de s'isoler dans sa chambre pour s'accorder une séance de méditation spirituelle pour clarifier son esprit. Malheureusement, elle a été immobilisé par un androïde dont sa programmation a été altérée par le dragon vivant dans la forêt de Tohron qui est la source du problème à laquelle la princesse tentait d'élucider le mystère.
Kaaya a été solidement ligotée/bâillonnée par cet androïde corrompu ayant avoué qu'il a vu de nombreux films/séries animées du 20e siècle dans sa base de données sur des filles retenues en otage et a décidé d'infliger ce sort à la princesse pour le plaisir malsain d'en faire une demoiselle en détresse tout en filmant la scène pour immortaliser cette séquence.
Alternate version of Astro Boy 2003 episode #44 In the Dragon's lair in which Astro and his friends visit the Mayura kingdom at the invitation of princess Kaaya whom they met during the events of episode #22 The legend of Torhon, however princess Kaaya isn't in a good mood and explains to her guests the robots have hardly spoken to humans for a month. The robots have been living in the Mayura kingdom for a year now. Naturally, Kaaya and the humans have always loved the robots as if they were their friends. Astro and his friends hear a rumor that a dragon has been spotted in the Tohron forest and wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that the robots are no longer talking to humans. Astro and his friends travel to Tohron Forest to discover the truth about the robots' minds.
In parallel to the plot of Astro and friends, the princess stayed at the palace to try to convince the robots not to run away from humans by avoiding contact, because it can hurt the inhabitants of her kingdom to be constantly rejected. After a hard day dealing with desperate moments while trying to reassure the inhabitants not to denigrate the robots who shun them, Kaaya felt the need to isolate herself in her bedroom to indulge in a spiritual meditation session to clear her mind. Unfortunately, she was immobilized by an android whose programming had been altered by the dragon living in Tohron forest, the source of the problem the princess was trying to unravel.
Kaaya was securely tied/gagged by this corrupt android, who confessed that he had seen numerous 20th century movies/animated series in his database about girls held hostage and decided to inflict this fate on the princess for the sick pleasure of making her a damsel in distress, while filming the scene to immortalize the sequence.
